Meret Becker

has worked as a performing artist since the age of 17.
As an actress, she has performed under the direction of, among others, Dominik Graf, Doris Dörrie, Vanessa Jopp, Claus Peymann, Caroline Link, Margarethe von Trotta, David Schalko, Oskar Roehler, Kerstin Polte, Matti Geschonneck, David Wnendt, Sönke Wortmann, Helmut Dietl, Joseph Vilsmaier, Dani Levy, Tom Tykwer, and Steven Spielberg.
Musically, she has staged numerous cabaret programs, released four self-composed albums, and toured nationally and internationally. She has collaborated with artists such as Ars Vitalis, Einstürzende Neubauten, Nina Hagen, Kent Nagano, Ulrike Haage, Jean-Claude Gallotta, and Pina Bausch.
She has been a frequent guest at the Weill and Brecht Festival, and she produced a short film for the Brecht Festival during the lockdown. She also directed “Die Originale” at the Festspielhaus Berlin and the documentary series “Square” for Arte.
She was part of the legendary productions “Sid & Nancy” at Berlin’s Ex&Pop and “Im weißen Rössl” at the Bar Jeder Vernunft.
In 2023/2024, she participated in the “Beyond Fame” exhibition at the NRW Forum Düsseldorf, where she installed a “girl’s room.”
She has been honored with the Adolf Grimme Prize, a Bavarian Film Award, the Golden Camera, the Culture Prize, and the German Film Award in Gold. In June 2022, she also received the Acting Prize at the Emden Film Festival. Her music for the film of the same name, “Pipermint – das Leben vielleicht” (Pipermint – Life Possibly), was awarded a Max Ophüls Prize.
Meret is a recipient of the Federal Cross of Merit.

Most recently, she appeared in the fourth season of “Babylon Berlin” as well as in “Babylon Berlin in Concert.” For Dominik Graf’s film “Fabian – Going to the Dogs,” she received her seventh nomination for a German Film Award, and for “Family Isn’t an Option,” she is nominated for a German Television Award.
On stage, she is currently performing the chanson program about the French chanson singer Barbara in “Night Blue – Song for an Absent Woman.”
Meret lives and works in Berlin and France. She is the mother of an adult daughter.

Burak Yigit

has performed at the Hebbel Theater under the direction of Tamer Yiğit, in short films, and on television. For his leading role in the feature film “Bis aufs Blut – Brüder auf Bewährung” (To the Bitter End – Brothers on Probation), he received the Bavarian Film Award and the Max Ophüls Prize for Best Young Actor in 2011. The thriller “Victoria” by Sebastian Schipper, which premiered in competition at the 2015 Berlinale, was nominated for the German Film Award for Best Feature Film that same year. His most significant role was in “Mustang”, which was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Foreign Language Film.

Klaus Tange

is a Danish actor, born in Copenhagen in 1962, who works in theatre, film and television in Europe, particularly in Germany, Denmark, Italy and France. He is known for roles in series such as Tribes of Europa (Netflix) and films such as A Royal Affair and, most recently, the series True Detective: Night Country. He graduated from the Danish National Theatre School in 1985 and has worked in many genres, from experimental film to mainstream productions.

Klaus is playing Dr. Kosswick in Blood&Clay.
